Dutch Fork started fast and finished later. After a weather delay pushed the game’s restart to midnight, the Silver Foxes pulled away from Sumter for a 55–26 Hall of Fame Game win on September 18.

Sumter looked ready to answer, but penalties stalled the drive. On fourth down, Dutch Fork linebacker Josiah Robinson (#24) helped snuff out the attempt and force a turnover on downs.
Knotts wasted no time on the next possession. The quarterback found Michael Robinson (#20) for a 43-yard gain, then finished the drive himself on a one-yard read-option touchdown.
“The game started fast. Then the weather made everyone wait. Dutch Fork came back at midnight and made the rest of the night theirs.”
After midnight, Dutch Fork took over
The delay left Dutch Fork ahead 13–0, but the Silver Foxes returned with the same pace. Knotts controlled the night through the air, while Miller repeatedly turned open space into points. Dutch Fork’s offense kept stacking drives until the final margin reached 55–26.
Knotts finished with 384 passing yards, four touchdowns, and one interception on 15-of-19 passing. Miller led the receiving production with 236 yards and three touchdowns on eight catches.
